Saturday morning we left our apartment just as the nursery walls were being taped. Upon returning in the early afternoon, Ed and I peeked around the door to find this...
Cue a sigh of relief (even will all my due diligence, I was still a bit nervous about filling the room with dark gray) and smiles. I couldn't be happier with the color and how the room feels. Now it's time to start filling it up!
By the way, if any Chicagoan out there needs a painter, I would highly recommend our guy, Armando. Over the past 5 years or so, he's done a lot of work for many of our family and friends. Not only does he do a great job for a great price, but he's an unbelievably nice person. His phone # is 847-338-2086. I told him to expect some phone calls!

Ooooh I love the dark grey; it looks fab.
We went with painting ourselves and so far have just painted the whole nursery white; we have the grey paint ready to paint stripes on one wall which I really hope will turn out although its quite a light ish grey we have gone for!
Cant wait to see the rest!
