Programs

Don't think I'd glance over one of my paper projects so easily. Here are the details behind the ceremony programs...

I had trouble committing to a program design. There was so much paper momentum following the save-the-dates and invitations that I wanted something equally impressive. I planned on keeping the colors and fonts the same as the invitations, but was hoping for a unique layout.

Some of the inspiration I gathered:

I debated. Twine? Ribbon? Booklet? Stitched? Folded? Accordion? Patterned covers?

Not quite sure how it evolved, but here is how the design ended up:

The materials I used:
The program was printed double-sided, so each program used only 1 piece of paper. I also had the printers cut them in thirds. Unfortunately, they didn't have a drill small enough for the brads I was using, so I punched them myself and then secured the 3 sections together with a brad.

Sorry, no photos of the process. If memory serves me correctly, I was sitting on our boat the Friday night of Memorial Day weekend punching holes, affixing brads and drinking wine from a red Solo cup. I was over documenting things.

The final product turned out satisfactory, but underwhelming. They were just kind of boring.

But whatever, they got the information across:

Want to see the other wedding paper messes I got myself into?
