I'm sure you all have wonderful grandfathers. And that's why it's hard for me to tell you that mine is actually the best.
Meet Edwin George. 80 years young.
This big guy is a teddy bear. Sure, he can be crotchety at times, but it doesn't take much to turn him to mush. Try it - give him a call, tell him you love him and prepare for the tears.
At my brother's wedding he was excited and got a little overserved. He danced to "Hips Don't Lie."
He raised four daughters and a son. Nothing makes him happier than being surrounded by them and his grandchildren.
Except maybe baseball, basketball or golf.
He was so happy the night of our wedding.
And if you told him he was the star of my blog today, he would have no idea what you were talking about.
Between Ed and me, he's the only grandparent we have left. Which made it all the more special that he was there with us.
I'm so thankful to have these moments captured forever. All photos by David Wittig Photography.

These pictures are amazing... your grandpa looks like he really knows how to have a good time! You're so lucky to have been able to share your wedding with him like this. These photos are absolutely priceless.
